How can you tell if a job uses Recruitee?
Recruitee job pages live at company-name.recruitee.com/o/job-title. The form asks for your details and, depending on the employer, a resume and cover letter, each of which can be required, optional or hidden. Knockout questions may follow, so read every question before you answer.
How does Recruitee screen applicants?
Employers can switch on a Knockout question toggle that automatically eliminates applicants based on their answer. If the chosen disqualification reason has an automated rule, such as a rejection email, it fires right after you apply. Recruitee’s AI Matching Assistant suggests candidates but gives no rankings or scores and never adds anyone to a pipeline automatically.
- Read knockout-style questions twice before answering.
- Mirror the job title and must-have skills where they are true for you.
- Keep your resume to two pages and use a text-based PDF.
What resume format works best on Recruitee?
Use a text-based PDF or DOCX with one column, standard headings and clear dates. Avoid image-only resumes: a picture of a resume gives a recruiter searching your profile nothing to find, and it may not parse at all. Keep it to two pages at most so the reviewer reads all of it.
Recruitee does not document a candidate status page. If you have not heard back, contact the employer directly. Recruiters at smaller companies usually answer a short, specific follow-up.
